Merry Christmas!

Christmas, I must say, is one of my very favorite times of year. "It's that time of year when the world falls in love," after all! I am crazy about everything Christmas: music, baked goods, movies, everything!
I hope everyone has been having a great break, full of Christmas treats, cheesy Lifetime movies, shopping, family, and friends. I know I'm already getting excited to ring in the New Year!

Finals Week...

It's finals week here at UW and I am having an even harder time focusing than usual! It's not that I don't like school or studying, but there is just so much Christmas-y fun to be had! I've been thinking about sooo much OTHER than school lately that I just can't bring myself to set aside the time to actually focus and do well...but I guess that's important, isn't it?

Oh and I totally just realized that I actually have two papers I need to write for tomorrow, not just one! So...maybe I should go do that. And also, maybe I should study for the final I have tomrrow. Good thing I have colored notecards!

And good thing for Starbucks! My favorite study spot, and really, just everything spot! I love to go to Starbucks with my friends and sit for hours, listening to the great playlist!

But they're closing now, so I have to go!

Hi you guys!

Some of you may know that I started a blog last year,but I just felt like I wanted a change--nothing against my old blog, but some of my posts just felt so outdated that I wanted a fresh-blog-start. So welcome to Malia In the City!

This blog will be all about my adventures in the little/big city I live in, the beautiful Seattle! I'm in my second year as a student at UW and I love it. I just started a job at Radio Disney as a promotions assistant, aka a Road Crew member. My paychecks have Mickey Mouse on them!

I had an idea for this blog post, but I think I'll just keep it introductory and let you get to know me a little more, so here is a list of some of my favorite things!
